ensure youth representation in Food Secure Canada's decision-making processes and throughout its networks;
provide mentorship and leadership opportunities and safe space for youth to strategize and mobilize around food; and
are committed to continuous outreach and recognize the strength of engaging youth from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences.
If you or your organization is dedicated to engaging youth in food systems or food policy issues, please sign up. We hold monthly to bi-monthly teleconferences with the aim of creating a pan-Canadian network of youth working on national food issues.
