Food system priorities within this mandate include:
• Support ministers working to advance gender equality, notably as it relates to economic participation and prosperity, including economic recovery, leadership and democratic participation, and poverty reduction, health and well-being.
• Work with the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development to ensure the voices and needs of children are represented in our Government’s agenda, working to make Canada the best place to grow up.
