[The Globe and Mail] Youth being ‘bombarded’ with unhealthy food ads, study finds

The evidence shows a new law is needed to crack down on the widespread practice of marketing unhealthy food to children. "If we don’t need legislation, why are a third of Canadian children overweight or obese?" says Sasha McNicoll, Coalition for Healthy School Food co-ordinator at Food Secure Canada. [Read more]
