FSC members' webinar: What's next for food policy?


After fifteen years of advocacy, the federal government is preparing A Food Policy For Canada.

FSC members and friends were very active during the consultation period, organizing community conversations, preparing policy briefings, offering expert witness to the parliamentary committee and co-convening a multi-stakeholder proposal on governance.


The Food Strategy Coordinator will lead the ongoing efforts of the Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy (TBAFS) by engaging partners and facilitating research, policy and action in a range of topics that comprise the TBAFS: food access; urban agriculture; school food environments; public food procurement; forest and freshwater foods; food infrastructure; and food production.
